TAKE A CLASS FROM ANGEL HERRING!
In this class you will learn to service your machine yourself. You will develop the skill set to clean, oil, and grease the proper locations to keep your machine running in tip top shape. When you leave the class, you will feel empowered!
You will also learn some tricks to sewing with your machine and gain confidence in using it on a regular basis if you so desire. We will practice your new skill set so you are comfortable enough to start piecing a quilt top or your next sewing project.
SHOP OWNERS, GUILDS, GROUPS: If you are a shop owner, guild co-ordinator, or have a sewing group and would like for me to present a class/workshop or online lesson please email me at featherweightblissbyangel@gmail.com for details. If the commute is too far to a shop for someone, I offer private lessons or small group workshops for in person and on line learning.

About Angel, the Instructor:
Angel Herring has been an award-winning elementary school teacher for 18 years and has a Masters degree in technology. She holds several educational and technology certifications. She has also won many awards for teaching such as the Red Apple award from KHOU, ESL teacher of the year for the district two times, and the Educator of the Year from the Children's Museum of Houston.
She took up sewing after her father passed because she wanted to make a quilt of his clothes. Her first sewing project was a t-shirt quilt. Go big or go home!
Most recently she is enjoying a new found passion for all things Featherweight! She is also a member of the Baytown Area Quilt Guild. Her hobbies include spending time with Gizmo the Human Dog and her new husband, Dennis. During her down time she can be found sewing, quilting, painting, crafting, and sharing her knowledge with others traveling all around doing the Featherweight Maintenance Classes.
